This one-day First Aid course has been designed for individuals who will be travelling to remote areas. With theoretical elements and active scenarios, you’ll cover all the basics of primary and secondary assessment, resuscitation, bleeding, shock and fractures, plus explore wilderness specific issues such as hygiene and extremes of temperature.

This First Aid course builds on the training gained in the one-day Explorer course, via theoretical elements and active scenarios you’ll gain further understanding of altitude and tropical medicine and learn how to manage intermediate remote fractures, spinal injuries and remote evacuations.
