The RSPB are looking for a Visitor Experience Officer to join the team at one of our flagship nature reserves - Arne in Dorset.

Salary starting at: £17,276 to £18,716 Per Annum, Pro-rata
Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week
You'll contribute to the planning and day to day running of the visitor experience offer including assisting with planning and delivering an exciting programme of events for wide-ranging audiences, encouraging engagement, and footfall to the reserve, through promotional activities, including social media, as well as working with a large, inspirational team of volunteers and staff all driven to help save nature. The overall aim is to attract visitors to the reserve and give them the best experience of the RSPB so that they are inspired to support our work.
If you are interested in working on a fantastic reserve which is home to iconic species such as Dartford warbler, osprey, hen harrier, smooth snake and sand lizard, and helping to develop the visitor experience at Arne, then we would love to hear from you.
The role has annualised hours to meet the seasonal demands of the role. It is likely to consist of 5 days through the May to October period - a peak time for events and education visits, and less days throughout the remainder of the year, when the focus will be on visitor experience and planning. The salary for the role remains constant throughout the year, with flexibility given to the working pattern to meet the demands of this varied and exciting role.
